Slowing Down the Mouse's Double Click Speed
 spacer

Introduction

Many items in Windows require that you click the left mouse button twice in quick succession to be activated. This is called a “double click”.

Many people experience difficulty double clicking on items. This is because the time in which you have to do two quick clicks of the left mouse button is too short.

It is easy, however, to slow down the speed at which you need to double click.

This page shows you how to slow down the double click speed of your mouse.

Please note: If you have bought a different mouse and/or installed a different mouse driver then the options may look slightly different to those shown in this module.
